About Me

I have no idea why I keep this blog – sometimes I feel compelled to write, even if it’s about nothing at all.  Other times I’d rather be outside biking or hiking or drinking a marg on the Rio deck.

So who am I?  Well hell, if I could answer that question, all my problems would be solved.  Let’s see, I went to UF where I got my master’s degree in Sport Psych.  I wish I could tell you it was a good education, but I can’t remember my first 2 years there – too much partying!  I moved to CO right after I finished college and I’ve been here ever since.  I met my husband and love of my life in Washington on a 30 day wilderness course, and now we both share a deep love of the backcountry.  When you fall in love with someone that hasn’t seen  a bar of soap in 30 days, you know you must be on to something!  On the flip side of that, I’m heavily involved in the tech scene in Boulder, Colorado.  It all started with me stalking the president of a business incubator in town, and since then I can’t stay away from the tech entrepreneurial scene here.  I currently work with TechStars, a fabulous tech accelerator in Boulder, and one of the most fun gigs I’ve had in a long time.  I feel honored and lucky to work there!  Plus, I’m a super small-time entrepreneur myself – working on an educational tool for entrepreneurs seeking funding.  Check it out at www.pitchforcapital.com!

I’m Greek and adore all things that are, I love movies but hate TV, I want to fire heavy artillery and be in a play someday.  I love people but hate crowds (except for the hilarity that is the Boulder Denver New Tech Meetup, or any Widespread Panic Show!).

And I love new friends.  Drop me an email, anytime.
